Even though I'm new, I want to put out my own 2 cents in all of this whole reverse colors in the Abyss cover and how the colors of the dresses in order were in the opposite order than the colors on the word Abyss on Elysion's cover. . _. Sorry if this is too long or in the wrong section, but I thought it was relevant to something mentioned about it. tl;dr => Abyss/Elysion could connect to lots of the other albums, if Abyss => Ssyba => Sybaris is true, which is a super long shot (to me at least) and that most of the albums could be described as taking place in (a type of) Italy (if you had to say where on a real map)

Abyss = > Ssyba => Sybaris Abyss played the pipe and stole, and Elysion seems to be a paradise, right? Well, Sybaris was a place (Ancient Greek, present day Southern Italy) that was super lavish and extravagant until it was taken over and it was famous for its horses that danced to pipe music. It could be that this place could be considered an 'Elysion' and turned into an 'Abyss" because it was never rebuilt after it was destroyed and looted by neighboring places.
I guess you could connect Elysion to Sybaris which could connect to Meiou. But then again, that might just be a long shot. I guess you could connect those to Roman too, because of Italy.... => Rome => Roman Or even Elysion => Sybaris => Italy => Plague/Black death => Marchen, but... Roman is supposed to mean story, but everything is a possibility right?
But, if the Abyss => Sybaris isn't right, all of these connections are thrown out the window. OTL
Baroque gilded bronze statue (Madonnina) on the Milan Cathedral in Italy, which could connect Italy <= Sybaris <= Abyss's Baroque on a literal thing/sense. And the Milan Cathedral could connect to Roman (I think that's the french album. I cant remember right now) because lots of French architects worked on it. Italy's language was established by a poet (could connect to Orpheus) named Dante Alignhieri from a capital city named Fiorenza/Firenze (Lafrenze => La Frenze and then La => the feminine word for 'The' in Spanish and the pronunciation sounds similar))
Italy has symbols that appear as Sound Horizon's ...title/logo/symbols/thing. Like the winged lion appears as well as laurels and Firenze's coat of arm's is the same thing that appears on SH's ...logo title. Another stretch could be that the font for Sound Horizon and words on like the Lazio flag (a providence in Italy) are similar.
I would tell more, but all the above was researched late last night and probably some things are misquoted, but if it stands, I think the quote " Everything goes back to Abyss" makes sense in that way, as well as the reversal of color, somewhat. Those are really interesting points made, and I like the research put into it! To be honest, I still have my reservations, but you did make good reference points, and I like how you tried to tackle the Abyss -> Ssyba connection and the mystery of the color order. I definitely think this warrants more interest, though. Thanks for bringing new points up! \o

Intriguing... I do wonder... I know that also Abyss does appear in Roman as well, at the end of Wine of Love and Saddness, but I suppose that it common, knowledge, right? ^^; Then in Sleeping Beauty, the baby left in the forest connects to Lafrenze. Orpheus was a wonderful music maker, given the lyre and taught how to play by Apollo himself (God of Music) who was the choir master to The Muses, six of whom in turn followed around the twins in Moira... Circles and connections is so many ways! Oh~ I do love Sound Horizon for giving me this reason for such deep speculation! If I ever visit Italy, I swear I will not be able to help but look for little things that may be connected to SH... OTL Thank you for your post, it's given me some food for thought~
